The container , esp. fire extinguisher (9) is held in a container (10) formed like a sack, pocket, shell, or similar. The retainer is secured via holders, e.g. carbine hooks (15,16) in securing eyes (3-6) located in boot (2) or cargo space. The container is arranged to hold further accessories, esp. warning triangle, first aid box, tools, etc. The holders also prevent the extinguisher from slipping out if the container, and for this purpose, one is formed by a hook-and-loop tape. Some of the holder walls are at least partially padded and/or elastic.
