METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a hollow fiber membrane module which is excellent in pressure resistance and which can be accumulated with a high accumulation rate.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a hollow fiber membrane module is carried out by inserting hollow fiber membranes with the open ends into a slit formed in a housing and then filling the slit with a fixing resin and solidifying the resin to fix the housing and the hollow fiber membranes with the resin. The method is excellent in such advantages that: (1) processes can be simplified because a process of cutting the ends of the hollow fiber membranes to open after fixing with the resin is not required; and (2) the diameter of the housing can be decreased because insertion of a cutter into the housing is not required.
