PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a light receiving element wherein manufacturing is easy and high speed operation and miniaturization are enabled. SOLUTION: The light receiving element on which a photodiode is mounted is provided with the photodiode wherein a transmission line is formed on a light receiving side and a high frequency substrate block. In the block, transmission lines which turn back direction of transmission by an acute angle are formed on an upper and a side surfaces, a recess which has the same depth as thickness of the photodiode is formed on the side surface part, and the photodiode is mounted. The transmission line of the photodiode is connected with the transmission line on the side surface of the high frequency substrate block by using wires. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
