PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire-wound inductor that has a plurality of self-resonant frequencies and is independently usable for a wide band. SOLUTION: This wire-wound inductor 10 is constituted by winding a conductor 16 forming an insulating coating film 14 composed of a macromolecular insulating material, such as the polyester, polyurethane, etc., on the surface of a copper wire 12 around the outer peripheral surface of the winding section 20 of a conical core 18 composed of a magnetic material, such as a ferrite etc., and forming terminal sections 22 at both ends of the conductor 16 by exposing the copper wire 12 by removing the coating film 14.
