PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition structure for simply constructing and remodeling the partition in the interior of a building at a low cost. SOLUTION: This partition structure includes a square pole-like stud 2 erected between a floor surface 10 and a ceiling surface 20 of the building, a partition panel 1 erected adjacent to at least two sides of four sides of the stud 2 between the floor surface 10 and the ceiling surface 20 of the building, and a joint member 3 connecting the stud 2 and the partition panel 1. The structure further includes panel fitting members 12, 13 engaged with the lower end of the stud 2 and the lower edge of the partition panel 1. The panel fitting members are extended in the longitudinal direction along the lower edge of the partition panel 1, and provided with a groove 15 formed on the upper surface to be U-shaped in section for storing the lower edge of the partition panel 1. The members may be divided by a dividing surface extending in the longitudinal direction through the groove 15 as shown in the drawing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
