PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slipping-off preventing structure of a shutter curtain and a manufacturing method for it, facilitating manufacture and having excellent slipping-off preventing function. SOLUTION: In this slipping-off preventing structure of the shutter curtain 2, an engagement part formed at the outer end part of a shutter strut 3 constituting the shutter curtain 2 is engaged with an engaged part formed on a guide rail 1 to prevent slipping-off. A flat surface part 4 is formed on the outer end part 3A of the shutter strut 3, and a projection 5 is projected on the flat surface part 4. The projection 5 is formed so that the inner edge part of the shutter strut 3 is cut to be projected and curved toward the inside of the shutter strut 3, and the cutting edge 5A is projected over the flat surface to be engaged with the engaged part for preventing slipping-off.
