PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction and discharge device for fluid, not requiring an extra process, doing without a large floor space and making the discharge quantity constant. SOLUTION: This suction and discharge device for fluid includes a piston reciprocating in a cylinder, a linear shaft for causing the piston to reciprocate at a fixed speed, and holes formed in cylinder chambers partitioned by the piston for sucking and discharging a fluid. When the fluid is sucked from the hole of one cylinder chamber, the fluid is discharged from the hole of the other cylinder. The linear shaft has a built-in permanent magnet in the axial direction of a shaft for moving the piston, and the permanent magnet is fitted to a cylindrical coil body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
