PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain anα-olefin polymer which is an olefin polymer having a low head-tail bond ratio, high polymerization activity, high molecular weight and a narrow molecular weight distribution, namely solves problems of stickiness, elution in an organic solvent, etc., and exhibits high resin modification performances by using the characteristic olefin polymer. SOLUTION: The≥3Cα-olefin polymer has≥140°C melting point (Tm) measured by DSC and≤1.5 molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) (Mw is weight-average molecular weight; Mn is number-average molecular weight). Especially the propylene polymer has≥150°C melting point (Tm) measured by DSC and≥3 mol% ratio of hetero bonds (head-head bond and tail-tail bond) between propylene monomers measured by<SP>13</SP>C-NMR.
