PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core bar for a rubber crawler causing less vibration, changing the shape of a rail provided at the core bar to avoid a collar part of an idler mounting the rail face of the core bar when the rubber crawler comes off the idler in the backward turn or the like of a crawler vehicle. SOLUTION: The core bar for the rubber crawler comprises an engaging part with a sprocket; wing parts provided on the right and left sides; and a pair of rails provided with the engaging part held between. The center collar part of the idler is fitted between the rails, and wheel bodies of the idler roll on the rails. The rail A is slightly longer than the longitudinal width of the wing part and has a nearly flat upper face. The rail B is formed to be slightly longer than the rail A in the longitudinal width direction of the wing part. The front end side of the idler rolling in a normal state on the rail B is formed as an inclined part opened outward in the width direction of the core bar from the top view, and the tip is positioned outside of the idler wheel body, while the rear end side is formed to be almost parallel with the rail A.
