A continuously flexible endless track is formed as a laminate having at least three longitudinally extending layers one of which is prestressed so that when the track is mounted upon the wheels of a vehicle there is an inherent tendency to form outward bulges between wheels. The bulging effect may be augmented by the track having two prestressed layers or by the pressure of steel members 10 forced into the spaces between tread elements formed on the outer track layer. Where there are two prestressed layers, they are separated by a layer of rubber. Other layers may be of a polyamide material and may have "web-like properties". The layers are bonded together.
