<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system capable of distributing the information to users passing through a passage way of an automatic thicket gate, regardless of the kind of used tickets such as a commuter pass, a thicket and a prepaid card. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic ticket gate 11 judges whether the passage through the passage way of the automatic ticket gate 11 is permitted or not on the basis of the ticket information stored in the inserted ticket 8, when two sheets of slips, that is, the ticket 8 and a member card 7 are inserted. The automatic ticket gate 1 outputs the distribution request including the identification code read out from the member card 7 to an information distribution device 21, when the permission of the passage through the passage way is judged.
