<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card and an IC card system for easily changing a communication frequency without using a switch by a mechanical contact point. <P>SOLUTION: This IC card communicates with a reader-writer in a noncontact state by mounting an IC chip 3 and an antenna coil 2 on a card body. The card body is constituted so as to be foldable with a predetermined optional position on a card surface as a starting point. A different communication frequency is obtained by changing inductance of the antenna coil 2 in a folded state and a non-folded state of the card body. This constitution can obtain the communication frequency different in the folded state and the non-folded state of the card body, and can transmit and receive the folded state, and dispenses with the switch by the mechanical contact point by making the transmission-reception of the non-folded state impossible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
