<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately carry out inspection of a mounting component. <P>SOLUTION: In a database 30, information (information regarding a specific component) regarding a component desired by a customer is stored in a form corresponding to a serial number provided per each piece of order information. An inspection terminal 40 reads a bar code 64 that is the serial number applied to a personal computer 60, and it reads the information regarding the specific component corresponding to the serial number from the database 30. The inspection terminal 40 requires pieces of information regarding various mounting components from the personal computer 60, it receives a response from the personal computer 60, it compares the information regarding the mounting component and the information regarding the specific component, and it displays a comparison result on a display 42.
