<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a cooling method of cryogenic equipment which can forecast a failure position and its extent without removing an insulating material and can obtain an appropriate cooling speed so that stress on the equipment is kept within an allowable limit. <P>SOLUTION: In cooling of the cryogenic equipment, a bias gage is attached in the equipment and piping for connection, and the cooling speed of the equipment is adjusted according to the output of this bias gage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
