[Also in Division B5] A plastics valve bag, Fig. 10, is made from tubular plastics foil by first deforming part of the tube to the shape of a pocket 28, which is subsequently punctured, and then making transverse welds 27 to define each bag. Alternatively a double width pocket (32), Fig. 11, (not shown, may be made in the tubing, welds (31) subsequently formed defining each bag and dividing each pocket. Holes, through which air can escape when the bag is filled, may be made round the circumference of each pocket. |
