PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image transmitter which can take appropriate measures, according to the communication load of a network. SOLUTION: The CPU1 stores a medical image in an image DB10a at every inspection when it acquires a medical image in medical image transmitting processing, selects the medical image of the object of transmission which meets the conditions for selecting the transmission object image, and indicates it on an indicator 13 as an inspection list together with the information to specify the inspection. Next, when it is instructed to select the medical image of the transmission object from an operation input 12 out of a plurality of inspections indicated, CPU1 sets priority to be transmitted for every inspection according to priority setting conditions, and it resets the priority into the instructed one when it receives the input of instruction to set the priority from the operation input 12.
