STORAGE SYSTEM, STORAGE DEVICE, AND INFORMATION SHARING METHOD USING THE STORAGE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the sharing/synchronization of information between different systems, and particularly, reduction in load required for communication by performing loose information sharing and loose information synchronization according to the characteristic of information between storage devices in a distributed environment. SOLUTION: This storage device has a synchronous control part for performing the synchronous control of information to the other storage device when the information is updated. The synchronous control part has a synchronous level registration table for registering/managing the synchronous level of every information kind and a synchronous interval registration table for registering/managing the synchronous time interval of information to the synchronous level.
