The frame elements (1) which can be vertical props, horizontal beams, diagonal stays etc are made at least in part of plastics preferably reinforced with fibres, such as carbon fibres. Reinforcement parts of a different material can be integrated in the plastics elements. A frame element can be manufactured as a completely individual element through injection moulding.
