The present invention relates to drug delivery systems, comprising an ARB or a RI, or at least two representatives selected from the group consisting of an ARB, an ACEI and a RI, or, in each case, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, for the prevention and treatment of proliferative diseases, particularly vascular diseases. The invention furthermore relates to the use of such drug delivery systems, for preventing or treating restenosis in diabetic and non~diabetic patients, or for the prevention or reduction of vascular access dysfunction in association with the insertion or repair of a n indwelling shunt, fistula or catheter in a subject in need thereof.
