<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rental commodity return receiving method for coping with the reduction of visits to a rental shop and the reduction of arrears caused when receiving the return of a rental commodity at a place different from the rental shop that has rented it. <P>SOLUTION: A rental information managing system 20 includes a rental management database 21, an added fee calculating system 22, a point issuing system 23, a delivery destination designating system 24 and an advertisement information sending system 25. When the rental commodity is returned to a return receiving store 10, the added fee calculating system 22 calculates an added fee and supplements the reduction of arrears, and the point issuing system 23 promotes visiting to the rental shop by issuing points to customers.
