PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphygmomanometer having an amplitude increase index measuring function with which an amplitude increase index is more correctly calculated from a cuff-pulse-wave.
SOLUTION: A pulse-wave detection pressure keeping means 50b keeps the pressure of a cuff 12 of a predetermined pulse-wave detection pressure value before pressurization by the cuff 12 for measuring blood-pressure. In this state, a cuff-pulse wave extracting means 53 extracts a cuff-pulse-wave signal SM in order to calculate the amplitude increase index AI. Consequently, the cuff-pulse-wave is extracted in a stabilized state of a blood flow, a blood vessel diameter, skin, and subcutaneous tissue at a part to be pressurized with the cuff 12, so that an excellently reproducible correct cuff-pulse-wave is obtained. Thus, precision is improved in the amplitude increase index AI to be calculated from the cuff-pulse-wave.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
|
