<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate reliability and shape by reducing the remaining air bubbles in a light guiding unit and reducing the brightness variations the display. <P>SOLUTION: At a first step of manufacturing a lighting display, a housing 27 is arranged so that the LED chip 23 is in the through hole 26 to carry out this LED chip 23 to side of a printed wiring board 25 out. At a second step, a resin 31 is poured in from an opening which carried out shedding to opposite side in the printed wiring board 25 of the through hole 26, that is, an injection hole. The air bubbles 32 contained in the resin 31 is vented from mounted through hole 29 to a substrate 22 of the printed wiring board 25 at this time. At a third step, poured resin 31 is hardened into a resin structure.
