<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrally formed connector with a chip type LED and its manufacturing method, capable of simplifying a connection and being thinned at low cost, and of attaining a reliable conduction with an electrode part, in a connection of a printed circuit board with the chip type LED. <P>SOLUTION: For connecting between opposite electrodes of a chip type LED (29) and a circuit board, there is provided an elastic connector which is pinched between the opposite electrodes to compress for an electric connection between the electrodes. The elastic connector is integrally formed by laminating on a surface of at least one electrode layer of the chip type LED and the circuit board. For example, a magnetic metal wire (11) obtained by orienting in a thickness direction in a silicone rubber (15') layer is integrally formed with an electrode terminal (4) of the chip type LED chip (29) composed of a substrate (1) and an element device (2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
