PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber formulation substantially not containing a gel. SOLUTION: There is provided the formulation which does not contain gels substantially and which comprises at least one 4-7C iso-mono-olefin monomer, at least one 4-14C multi-olefin monomer orβ-pinene, at least one multi-olefin crosslinking agent, at least one elastomer polymer containing the recurring unit obtained from at least one chain transfer agent, and at least one filler and peroxide cure system. There are provided parts of a vulcanized rubber containing the above peroxide cure formulation which are useful for damping and/or blocking vibration generated from a mechanical means. There is provided a mechanical means which comprises a dynamic means generating heat and/or vibration and a static structure supporting and festooned to the dynamic means and in which the above parts of the vulcanized rubber are interposed at connection points between the dynamic means and the static structure.
