PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ozone generation apparatus capable of highly efficiently generating high concentration ozone. SOLUTION: The ozone generation apparatus has at least one ozone generation unit comprising two electrodes disposed face to face for producing discharge by applying high voltage therebetween, at least one dielectric installed between the electrodes, and a gas supply mechanism for supplying air between the electrodes as a raw material gas to generate ozone by the discharge, wherein a discharge void length is 0.6 mm or less, and the product pd of the gas pressure p in the discharge space and the discharge void length d is 120 Torr cm or more.
