PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a rotary member such as a pulley or the like in simple constitution when a stapler moves in the direction orthogonal to the paper sheet carrying direction. SOLUTION: In a paper sheet handling device for discharging the carried paper sheet after performing a specified process to the carried paper sheet, there are provided a staple tray 51 for containing the carried paper sheet temporarily, a jogger fence 53 for coordinating the direction of carried paper sheets in parallel with the carrying direction of paper sheets in the staple tray 51, an end face stapler S1 for binding a coordinated paper sheet bundle, and a guide shaft 40 for guiding the stapler S1 in the direction orthogonal to the paper sheet carrying direction and supporting the stapler S1 in the direction perpendicular to the guide direction so as to be movable.
