The electronic sensor has a sleeve-shaped housing (2) with an end piece, especially a plug connector (3) or cable connector, and a sensor module (4) with at least one sensor and sensor cover. The connection of the housing and end piece and/or of the housing and sensor cover is achieved by resistive welding, especially pulse resistive welding. An independent claim is also included for a unit with an inventive device.
