<p>An absorbent article, such as a sanitary towel or an incontinence protector, intended to be worn with a thong underwear. Said article has an essentially elongate shape with a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction, an upper side 10 and an under side 20, two long sides 2 and 3, two short sides 4 and 5, a first end portion, intendedto be directed forward on the user and a second portion 7, intended to be directed rearwards on the user where first portion is wider than the second end portion, a liquid-permeable surface layer, a liquid-barrier backing layer, an absorbent body included between surface layer and backing layer. One flap extends laterally from one of the two long sides, in the second end portion. The materials used for the surface and backing layer may be transparent.</p> |
