<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate ordering work for a commodity, such as lunch for a construction workers of a construction field office, thus reducing the man-hours spent for the work. <P>SOLUTION: A commodity order-receiving/order-placing system, for the construction field office, which receives orders for commodities such as lunch placed by construction workers and places an order therefor, has a central service center B which is connected via a communication line to a commodity ordering terminal device A installed in the construction field office, receives the order for commodity from the commodity-ordering terminal device A, summarizes and sorts the order contents, and transmits the order content to an order destination C of each commodity. Then, the central service center B displays a selection menu of items on a display means via the commodity ordering terminal device A to perform order-receiving processing, based on the selection and designation of an item, performs payment processing for the order, summarizes and sorts the order contents, and transmits the order content to the order destination C of each commodity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
