<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: when accidents such that an extension tube is fallen off, a lid in the rear end of the extension tube is come off, and the like, occur, the blood outpours through a needle for a catheter to stain a nightwear or a bed sheet, and if such accidents are unnoticed and left for a long time, it may endanger the patient's life due to massive blood loss. <P>SOLUTION: This needle for the catheter is characterized in having a needle part comprising a metal capillary, a transparent hub part connected to one end of the needle part, and a check valve cutting off the counterflow of the liquid from the needle part side to the hub part side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
