<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer apparatus for a circuit board which is made compact in structure, wherein a plurality of working modules are arranged in series. <P>SOLUTION: Working modules 12, 24, 16 and 18 are arranged in series so as to be close with each other each comprising transfer devices 56, 300, 300 and 42 that transfer printed boards 24, working devices that perform working to the printed boards, and individual control devices that control the working devices. The plurality of the working modules are made to serve as the working devices which are each equipped with a part mounting device for mounting electronic parts on a printed board with a part mounting head movable in X and Y directions, and the width of the mountable region of the part mounting device is set half or above as large as that of the working module itself. The length of the transfer device of the working module is set equal to the width of the working module, the transfer device and the working module are set independent of each other, and the circuit board is directly delivered from the transfer device of the upper working module to the transfer device of the lower working module. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
