<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the targeting of a constant electromagnetic stimulation to the brain of a human being by an exact magnitude over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The subject method and the subject apparatus perform the targeting of the electromagnetic stimulation to the brain of a human being. By the method, a pulse-like electromagnetic field locally having a powerful electromagnetic maximum value is formed, and the electromagnetic maximum value of the electromagnetic field is targeted to the brain (2). The distribution, direction and strength of an electromagnetic field generated in the brain are restricted, and a physiologic or biological reaction such as a reaction of the muscle measured by using, e.g., an electromyograph is measured. Thus, the location of the brain is restricted within a three-dimensional space, and location data is received in a data-processing device (8) under an electric configuration. The location data of the electromagnetic field is received in the data-processing device (8) by the same three-dimensional coordinates as the coordinates of the brain. Then, the location data of the electromagnetic field is combined with the location data of the brain (2), and a figure-like expression (9) of the location data of the electromagnetic data and the location data of the brain is formed by utilizing the data-processing device (8). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
