PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition mixed with a minute silica compound, which improves rigidity without sacrificing transparency and impact strength, dispersed into the resin composition, and to provide a molded article and a component using the same. SOLUTION: The resin composition is obtained by uniformly compounding and dispersing a minute metal oxide being a filler whose surface is modified so as to have a functional group to be ionically bonded to a polymer or a copolymer having a functional group to be ionically bonded to the filler into the polymer or the copolymer and ionically bonding the filler to the polymer or the copolymer.
