PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which has superior wear resistance, is free of cracking and precipitation of a charge transport material and has high sensitivity, and an electrophotographic device equipped with the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: A photosensitive layer on a conductive base of the electrophotographic photoreceptor includes at least one kind of compound expressed by formula 1 (where Ar is an aromatic hydrocarbon group which may have substituent, a condensed polycyclic hydrocarbon radical which may have a substituent, a heterocyclic radical which may have a substituent, or a condensed heterocyclic ring radical which may have a substituent).
