PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reproducing device wherein no time and labor are imposed on a device user even when a user input standby state is set. SOLUTION: This information reproducing device is provided with a control means for determining whether a user input standby state is continued or not for a predetermined time, automatically starts reproduction from a recording medium when the predetermined-time continuance of the user input standby time is determined, and executes processing in accordance with a user input when the user input is determined in the user input standby state.
