PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester composition which is less prone to cause mold staining on molding, and excels in long-term continuous moldability. SOLUTION: The polyester composition comprises 100 pts.wt. polyester (A) having an ethylene arylate as the main repeating unit and 0.01-100 pts.wt. m-xylylene group-containing polyamide (B), and the the relative viscosity (RV) of the m-xylylene group-containing polyamide (B), its amino end group concentration (AEG), and its carboxyl end group concentration (CEG) meet formula (1): 1.3≤RV≤2.1, formula (2): AEG+CEG≥150 (μmoL/g), and formula (3): AEG/CEG≥2.0, respectively.
