PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystalline polymorphic indole compound and a method for controlling the crystal form of the compound. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a high-melting point crystal and a low-melting point crystal of 1-(N,N-dimethylsulfamoyl)-3-[3-bromo-6-fluoro-3-methylindol-1-yl]sulfonyl-1,2,4-triazole and a method for producing the crystal. The production method comprises a solid-phase transition method e.g. by crushing under the application of pressure and/or heat, a method for producing the high-melting point crystal or low-melting point crystal by controlling the crystal form by changing the cooling and/or concentrating rate and the supersaturation degree of the solution during the crystallization by the cooling or concentration of the solution, and a method for producing a high-melting point crystal by mixing the solution with a poor solvent and crystallizing the compound.
