PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device equipped with a process cartridge for detecting the accurate life of a photoreceptor and a storage element to be provided in the process cartridge.

SOLUTION: The storage element 30 to be provided in the process cartridge 29 equipped with the photoreceptor 1 and an electrostatic charging means 2 for electrostatically charging the photoreceptor 1 stores information on the time of application of an AC voltage to the electrostatic charging means 2.
