<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device or the like, capable of improving the convenience regarding consumables of a printer for a user. <P>SOLUTION: A STB 100 is used by connecting to the printer 200 and a contents distribution device 21, to receive an order for consumables 223a-223c used for the printer 200 and comprises a communication I/F part 103, which acquires contents related to points, a job management part 106b which prints out the acquired contents by the printer 200 and accumulates points related to the contents, a point accumulating part 109, a printer I/F part 107, and an order control part 106a which transmits the notification for placing the order of the consumables with the accumulated points to the contents distributing device 21. When the order for the consumables is received from the STB 100, the contents distribution device 21 performs accounting processing, to reduce the price of the consumables by the amount of money corresponding to the points transmitted with the order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
