<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device wherein a plurality of elements relay a signal to transmit the signal without the need for forming an individual wire. <P>SOLUTION: The communication device includes a plurality of the communication elements which are distributiedly placed. Each communication element has a function of communicating only with the other communication elements arranged around each communication element. The communication distance is selected to be in the range of permitting local communication with the other communication elements arranged around the each communication element, and sequentially transmission of a signal between the communication elements through the local communication can transmit the signal to a target communication element. A plurality of the communication elements are layered by a management function, and by setting path data to each layer the signal is transmitted efficiently to the final destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
