<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing easily at a low cost a reliable pipe for pretensioners capable of enduring the explosion of powder. <P>SOLUTION: The method is for manufacturing the pipe for pretensioners which comprises a housing for a gas generator and a passage integrally formed with the housing, and the passage contains and guides drivers that are accelerated by gas generated from the gas generator to rotate a reeling shaft of a seat belt. The pipe is made by executing drawing processes on a seamless pipe several times. The seamless pipe to be processed is formed to have a certain length in consideration of a product dimension prior to a final drawing process, and the final drawing process is executed on the part of the processed pipe other than one end thereof to manufacture the pipe for pretensioners. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
