PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a spectrum analyzer that although it can measure the multicarrier power (MCP) of an input signal having one or two carrier signals, measurement of two or more carrier signals may cause an error because the power of each carrier signal is measured separately in order to perform MCP measurement. SOLUTION: The problem is solved by making it possible for the user of the spectrum analyzer (100) to configure the potential positions for respective carrier frequencies thereby making it possible for the spectrum analyzer to perform MCP measurement of each carrier signal existing in the input signal.
