PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe, having a surface for presenting an object of analysis to an energy source for radiating energy for desorbing the object of analysis from a probe in the detection of the object of analysis and can be inserted removably inside a mass spectrometer. SOLUTION: The probe can be inserted removably inside the mass spectrometer and has a surface for presenting the object of analysis to the energy source for radiating the energy for desorbing the analyzed object from the probe in the detection of the object of analysis.
