摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi optical axis photoelectric sensor capable of stably detecting and deciding an object and stably deciding an input light by suppressing the affects due to noise or the like. SOLUTION: The multi optical axis photoelectric sensor is configured to include a comparator 33 with respect to each light receiving element J and transmit an output signal being a digital signal (with a high level / low level) from the comparator 33 to a light receiving side CPU 34 via a signal line. Thus, the sensor has higher noise immunity than the case with transmitting a light receiving signal being an analog signal, stably detects/ decides an object and stably decides an input light. Further, the sensor can allow each comparator 33 to detect and decide the object and stably decide the input light on the basis of one reference level because of adopting a configuration of changing a light projection amount in an light projecting operation of a light projection element T between a state of the object detection and decision and a state of stable input light decision, and the sensor employs one comparator to simply configure each comparison means thereby minimizing the sensor itself, otherwise, getting larger in the scale.
