PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for thinning an outer layer of a kernel molding in a novel kernel locking system using a double pounder, and a powder granule in which the outer layer is more evidently thinned by the relevant method. SOLUTION: In the novel kernel locking system using the double pounder, a phenomenon of thinning the outer layer with a compressed pressure from the center of an inner core toward the outer layer is found out and the coarsest bulk density of the powder granule for the outer layer to be used is lowered. Preferably, the powder granule for the inner core is compressed at near a critical pressure so that the outer layer is thinned or a thin film outer layer molding is produced successfully. Further, as the powder granule suitable for the powder granule for the outer layer, namely, as the powder granule of the low bulk density keeping flowability, the powder granule mainly composed of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose whose compression rate is≤33% and whose coarsest bulk density is≤0.3g/mL and the powder granule mainly composed of sucrose whose compression rate is≤25% and whose coarsest bulk density is≤0.75g/mL are provided as well.
