PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to discharge harvested beans tidily to a machine lateral side. SOLUTION: An engine 3 is mounted to a harvester body 2 provided with wheels 1 at right and left sides, and a handle 4 for steering is arranged in posterior to be a walking type. A height adjustable gage hoop 48 is provided at the anterior side to the locus of one side wheel of a pair of left and right wheels 1 when viewed from the posterior in the traveling direction of the harvester body 2. A conveying body 15 which rotates endlessnessly rearward within a plane whose front is low and rear is high is provided at the side opposite to the gage hoop 48. After drawing out the stems of young soybeans together with the roots planted in rows in a farm land by holding the stems 5a of the young soybeans 5 using the conveying body 15, they are conveyed upward. A stem guide device 61 which leads the stems 5a of soybeans 5 to a discharge port 60 and a collection device 10 which has a collection plate 16 for receiving the stems 5a of the soybeans 5 in a laying down posture are arranged at the rear end of the conveying body 15.
