The car roof module comprises a lining (14) which is fitted from below. Its side sections (18) are connected by folds (20, 26, 28) to a central section (16). There are small cut-outs (22) at the points where the folds cross. Independent claims are included for: (a) a car roof which includes the module; and (b) a method for assembling a car roof using the module.
