<p>An electric stapler, wherein a press blade (19) lifting toward a driver is installed on a clincher (17), recessed grooves (21) are formed on both sides of the staple injection port of a driver unit (12) and the tips of the press blade are received by the recessed grooves, and after paper is held by the driver unit and the clincher and bound with a staple, the press blade presses paper against the recessed grooves to press the paper through a folding line, whereby an excellent finish can be provided in a binding device formed of the electric stapler and a paper folding mechanism.</p> |
