<p>A shoe including an upper (20), a lower (insole) (30) attached to the upper (20), and an outsole (40) attached to the lower (30) is presented. In one embodiment, the outsole (40) has a ground contacting surface which includes a first section and a section section, with the first section being formed of a first material and the second setion having an outer layer formed of a material other than leather, rubber or plastic. The first section can be formed of any number of materials, such as rubber, leather, etc. The first and second sections of the outsole are formed in an injection molding process that uses one or more molds.</p> |
