CONDUCTIVE MEMBER, ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVICE USING SAME, AND PROCESS CARTRIDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive member by which excellent images can be obtained for a long period by an electrophotographic device capable of being set to a plurality of process speeds for adaptation to a variety of media (transfer material) and which is usable as a conductive member applied with only a DC voltage and to provide a process cartridge having a conductive member as an electrostatic charging member and an electrophotographic device.

SOLUTION: The conductive member which has one or more coating layers on a base is characterized in that a surface layer of the conductive member contains particulates, the mean particle size of particulates below the surface layer of the conductive member within a range of ≤30 % of the overall layer thickness from the bottom surface being larger than the mean particle size of particulates above the surface layer within a range of ≤30% of the overall layer thickness from the top surface.
